I put together a Swoon top months ago but haven't gotten around to quilting it. It will be a king size for the guest bed once complete. Not sure how I plan to quilt that one but while I ponder it, I started a second, smaller Swoon quilt.
This pattern, Swoon, by Camille Roskelly is a great little quilt pattern. I enjoyed making it, I even had a brainstorm on how to simultaneously sew the HSTs for pinwheel blocks that can be used on the quilt as a border or for something else entirely. Check it out, I posted about it here Light Bulb Moment.
As for this one, I backed it with minkee.
I played with the quilting and came up with what can only be called, "Crazy Ass Weird Quilting".
However, that is okay due to it being earmarked for a family member. I was originally going to give it to a co-worker but I think the green might not suit her. Final measurement is about 54" square but I'm most proud that several corners in this quilt are as good as this one or pretty darn close.
I bound it in a strong blue and I played with some photo staging.
Cheers!
Becky
