There's some debate about why. I'm not THAT much of a Homicidal Suicidal Quiltzilla, but close. I say things on my blog that I probably wouldn't say in person with as much vitriol.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08334344363609759815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6225224009323729581.post-76073737527202853412010-03-21T11:25:56.925-04:002010-03-21T11:25:56.925-04:00You say bitch like it's a bad thing. I realized that I was not really myself on the blog, I was worried about what people would think about me. I did not have any followers when I blogged like that. No I am being myself and guess what? I have more followers! I like to think of followers as friends though. I can be a real b...h on some days and have been known to throw a few hissy fits! Take for instance today - I have not been in a good place, so I stayed away from my blog. I love how you write and love that you are being yourself. Except in life I throw F bombs round a lot more. I was so relived to see you write one in this post.

And it doesn't hurt to have a quilting goddess or two on your side. And you do have an awesome personality.

And Bakerella is a bitch.(I'm kidding I LOVE Bakerella)Shayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11032969125788408807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6225224009323729581.post-48108655873008662622010-03-17T20:25:26.401-04:002010-03-17T20:25:26.401-04:00I really liked reading your post today. I didn't know your were Catholic and I think it is awesome.... I am basically 95% me on my blog, I do mention my church but probably not the religion. I do not curse but I do throw fits (not to where anyone can see me).... so you are right, we have to keep part of ourselves private. you are awesome....and enjoyed you emensly.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06622919657309096651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6225224009323729581.post-67844498141190841682010-03-17T00:23:26.537-04:002010-03-17T00:23:26.537-04:00Somehow I can't imagine Carmen swearing like a...Somehow I can't imagine Carmen swearing like a drunken sailor. Or you, Miss My Limit is 2 Mike's Hard Lemonades in 4 Hours (giggle).

As quilters, we've got an inherent respect and compassion for our peers, so we clean up our language and try to be somewhat politically correct so as not to offend, but even so, I think we still manage to entertain, regardless.

One of these days I think it would be fun for all of us to meet in Houston for Quilt Festival (or okay, we could take a break from quilting and do a Weekend in Vegas.) That, me bloggies, would be one rowdy party, and a source of many entertaining blogs to come.Susan Entwistlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12637371699937967807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6225224009323729581.post-25967034230410137402010-03-16T14:33:40.540-04:002010-03-16T14:33:40.540-04:00What an interesting question - and a great post.
...What an interesting question - and a great post.

I don't have a problem with the sarcastic elements in your posts, I'm from London with Irish roots, the very definition of sarcastic.

I don't mind your goddess comments at all; I get a bit uncomfortable sometimes when I see blogs that are too overtly religious. A bit like the dinner party rule, never talk religion or politics.

My own voice in blogland is only just developing as I've only started this year and it is all about quilting and crafts at the moment.

Thinking about it though, this is deliberate as these interests are ones I don't have people to share with that much in the real world. Food for thought though.

keep up with the sark!
cheersShevvyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16597474715523695213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6225224009323729581.post-58172489974628120332010-03-16T12:20:37.413-04:002010-03-16T12:20:37.413-04:00Whoa Beck! I am going to take your challenge and ponder the question--for a day or two, then you can read my reply on my blog LOL But the long and short of it is, on my part anywho, "I is who I is" and the only thing I spare people is my language that yes, can remind one not only of a sailor, but a drunken one at that! Now I have a question for you: What is your biggest pet peeve in reading others blogs? LOLCarmenhttp://1foxiegrannie.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
